Elkhart S.A.L.T. Facility

A high-capacity municipal salt storage facility designed to support efficient winter road maintenance for the City of Elkhart. This pre-engineered metal building, by Varco Pruden Buildings, features reinforced concrete containment walls, a large open storage layout, and expanded asphalt paving to improve truck circulation and year-round site access.

Built for durability and long-term performance, the facility provides a weather-resistant, compliant solution for bulk salt storage and distribution, helping the city improve response times and maintain safer road conditions during winter weather events.
